We practice placement of post-extraction dental implants commonly in our clinic. To avoid any further infection associated with immediate load of implants in our jaw bones, we treat the extraction site with Lasers. This has always ensured successful implant therapy with good primary stability and zero complications for us and for our patients. This procedure is beneficial for all Implant treatments but majorly it is indicated during the replacement of an endodontically compromised teeth having signs of periapical infection. The laser beams can significantly reduce the bacterial concentration present in the tooth socket of an extracted tooth. More importantly they enhance retention of the blood clot and improve healing of soft tissues.
